Amazing! Superb service and tasty food. Also very quick. So happy to have found this place. We'll be returning a lot this summer.

It is pretty good. Very new and I think with time it will have better pizza. Nice inside The only coal fired pizza around the area. Tell them Rory Blane sent you.

I have to say coming from living in NYC during the week i hardly seek out pizza around Pt Pleasant Beach New jersey were I weekend. That being said The Coal house is a Welcome addition to my shore house area. It is amazing thin pizza, just enough of coal fired taste. . The salads sand alone a meal if thats what you want. I might have to stop eating pizza in NYC and only eat it on weekends at the Coal House!

my wife and i went there for lunch today for the first. the food and the service was great. one of the best part of the experience was the owner or manager coming up to us to thank us for coming in. not to many places do that anymore. i like that it mean alot to me. cant wait to go back. thanks mike and lisa

Nice Coal Fired Pies. You have to like that type of pie though. Not all pizza fans are coal fired pizza fans

Drove into point tonight from tomsriver looking for something to eat with my wife and son. Stumbled across the coal house and thought it would be worth a try. Boy oh boy are we glad we tried this place!! Very trendy and classy inside with a great feel to the place. Seems to be family run and the entire staff is super friendly! We ordered a pie and a couple salads which were delicious!!!! And reasonably priced. Salads were amazing and thin crust brick oven pizza was wow. We were all ready for the check when we saw the table next to us having cupcakes so we split between the 3 of us a red velvet and chocolate cannoli...... NYC quality! We will def be back and can't wait to try the pannini's next time.

Found this on Yelp while at the beach with the family. The restaurant is near the center of town in a very nice retail center. Interior had great ambiance and lighting. As others have mentioned, this place is BYOB. I went to the Polish Deli / Liquor store a couple of blocks down and bought a half-bottle of 2010 Luiano Chianti Classico which was a great accompaniment. Service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Tried the chicken wings with lemon/ garlic sauce. WOW! - they make these in the coal oven so they are crispy and served in a bowl with sliced roasted garlic, and a lemon butter (oil?) sauce that is incredible. The waitress brought us some sliced crispy bread to dip into it after we were done. I had the pesto pizza which was delicious, although a little oily. The house pizza (margarita) was perfect. Light crispy crust, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, light sauce...incredible. The owner, Anthony, was still there at 9:15 pm on a Monday and was very friendly. I highly recommend!

The food is very good. It's a limited menu and very well done. The house salad is outstanding. However, the service is slow at the best of time. And today was not the best of times. We walked out after 15 minutes as the 2 waitresses ompletely avoided us and any attempt to talk to them. When we told the manager why we were leaving, his only response was "ok".

Just went for the first time. Can't wait to go back. Salad was solid, service was excellent. Pizza is as good as it gets when it comes to Coal / Brick Oven. Met Anthony, one of the partners ( I believe). Very accommodating.

Love their crusts!! The pizza here in Sea Girt was one of the best I've had in the area. We had pesto pizza. Not the best pesto, but we asked for pizza sauce on the side and dipping it made the pie fantastic. The decor is trendy industrial and fun, very clean. There's cute outdoor seating and it looks like they have heaters. The only downfall is the outdoor dining is facing the highway. Service was really great. It was a Saturday afternoon and they were surprisingly not busy. I hope the do well. I will definitely return to try more.

Tried for the first time...thanks Yelp. Good Pizza when you are in the mood for something other than what I'll call a "traditional pie"; when compared, the CH pie is tasty, light, not greasy or over-cheesed. A Eggplant panini was pretty good...perhaps it suffered from take-out that made it a little soggy...I think wrapping it tight in foil made it that way..a box might have helped the bread stay crisply toasted. They offer a good signature salad and an awesome cupcake! The take-out setup is done right....you don't have to walk through the restaurant to pickup. They have a separate take out area. A great feature for those picking up as well as those dining in...something that is often overlooked in designs. We will try again...perhaps next time we will dine there.

When you walk towards the restaurant, it's in a little "plaza" lets say, that is so adorable. The coal house is very modern inside with televisions and the Brick oven that has the pizza man making the pizza, you can watch as your dinner is made. They now have wings, which I thought were buffalo, but are actually in a lemony garlic sauce. It was delicious. That as the appetizer. For dinner we ordered a variety of pizza. The pie with sausage and pepperoni was delicious. The owner Anthony was a sweetheart and very attentive towards his guests. I can't wait to be in the neighborhood again for some pizza! One more thing, if your here for a date night and want some wine, there's a liquor store at the corner a few blocks up. BYOB! Enjoy !

Service: 5 stars Pizza: gluten free + mushrooms. Let me give an A for effort, that they actually have a gluten free option down here at the shore. Pros: fresh veggies, great mozzarella and fresh basil. My family who had regular pizza liked it: they are very generous with the toppings! Cons: the gluten free crust was not good. Mushy and cardboard-ish. I ended up scraping the toppings and eating them. Also did not enjoy the spicy sauce: it reminded me more of Pizza Hut than homemade sauce.

Great casual family atmosphere. Service is spectacular, esp the cute blond girl. Pizza comes out fast and is some of the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. Fresh ingredients with pies made right before your eyes. It's nice to have the option to take out or eat in, it's an inviting and warm place to sit and eat, love it here.

Just had a fantastic dinner here with my family. The waitresses were very attentive & patient with all the children in our party. We all split the antipasto, an original coal fire pizza & a prosciutto panini. Antipasto was great! It had good, fresh ingredients & it was big. Pizza was also very good. Really good fresh mozzarella & the crust was perfect. Only had a bite of the panini, but that was also good. Will definitely be returning & looking forward to trying some of the other salad options.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Friday in March. It wasn't very crowded and they seated us right away. My husband and I split The Original - basically a pizza with sauce, mozzarella and basil. We also ordered it with garlic, which they sprinkled on quite liberally. All pizzas come well done which is great. I hate pale pizzas. The pizza was on our table in under 10 minutes which was appreciated since our baby was with us and she gets bored easily. However, it did take awhile for the waitress to come by once we had finished the pizza. All in all we really enjoyed our lunch and I'm looking forward to heading back when we're in the area.

First time visit. The restaurant was full and we had a 10 minute wait, it was worth it! We where sat at a share table for the 4 of us. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service was very good. Seems like the servers work as a team but kept informed. We ordered appetizers chicken wings and salad. The chicken wings where in a vinaigrette sauce, they where very good. The salad was very nice and dressed correctly. We ordered two pizzas that came out perfectly cooked. Not burnt like you get at most coal oven cookery 's. The manager or owner kept on eye on all the guests and was very attentive and pleasant. They are running the business like they want you to return and we will.

Every time I dine at the Coal House there's always someone attending the parking lot a wonderful convenience. Anthony is always there to greet me, the waitresses are very accommodating and attentive. It's a BYO. The pizza is consistently hot, fresh & delicious, the salads are amazing always torn between ordering the Scubi or Antipasto, very generous portions too! Tonight was a dilemma they offered specials!?!? Grilled & seasoned Salmon (6 oz) over arugula & baby greens fresh lemons, yummo! Plus wings baked, coal fired and seasoned to perfection. I had the salmon, friends had wings & pizza, we all got to taste and agreed A+++++ I have to mention Anthony stopped by our table asked how was everything plus he was there to say goodnight & thank us for coming as we were leaving, now that is the epitome of great customer service.

Had a lovely dining experience with delicious arugula salad and coal house pizza. Due to the uneven pizza stand, we dropped half our pie on the rocks outside and the waitress was kind enough to replace the dropped slices! Wish we remembered the waitresses name, she was very good!

we recently had my bridal shower here at the coal house. i was amazed at the service and the food was absolutely incredible. anthony and his staff were extremely attentive and professional. on top of all this, its byo and we brought wine. what other way to celebrate! thank you coal house for fulfilling my day, i couldn't have imagined it any other way. i'm happy to recommend this place whether it's for dinner or for a small gathering.

I am in the area for business, and had read about The Coal House on yelp and decided to try it out. I walked in and ordered take out from Anthony, who I presume is the owner. He helped me choose my pizza and was extremely accomodating, asking if I would like a beverage while I wait and keeping me company. I ended up ordering the Four Cheese, which was wonderful- nicely charred with a fantastic crispy crust. The great food coupled with Anthony's hospitality made this a home away from home for me. Stop reading, just go!

This review is more based on the business practices of the owner, Anthony, rather then the so-so pizza. I tried to book my November Wedding rehearsal dinner here. When I met with the owner, Anthony, he quoted me one price and as I tried to book he told me I was WAY to early and that we could handle matters at a later date. When I contacted him at the later date he told me I had the numbers messed up and the prices I had were not the prices he told me. I asked to do Ala cart then(the cost was way more efficient then even the 1st price quoted) he told me NO! I then told him that I would not like to book based on his practices to which he then admitted that the cost did go up. I tried to explain that I tried to book at the 1st meeting and he told me to wait but he Called me silly and told me I was making a issue about pennies. I assume that pennies are not his concern but switching the prices on customers is. I urge anyone visiting this establishment to be weary of what you are paying and what you are getting. The pizza is ok, the servers are so fearful of their boss that the service is terribly and the owner is RUDE, ARROGANT and basically a SHYSTER. I wont return EVER. And neither will my 30 guests who know the Story. We did however go next door to Prime 13 and receive the best service, price and a meal to die for! And we left with a smile on our face not a hand in our pocket. Anthony should be ashamed at how he treats his customers.

Very affordable prices, deliciously thin crust, coal fired pizza - nice char marks on crust from the coal oven, cheese is nice and stringy and the toppings aren't stingy. Casual atmosphere, nice place to go for dinner when you don't feel like spending a lot. Menu is fairly limited, but if you want pizza, it's perfect. Drinks are unlimited and our pizza was served within 15 minutes of being ordered.

The coal house is a great pizza place. It is a great addition to point pleasant. They needed a nicer place like this on Arnold avenue. The service is good and quick and the restaurant is clean. The prices are very reasonable also. I don't recommend going on weekends or Friday nights because it gets super crowded and noisy since it is very small. I recommend getting the medium coal house original if you will be 3 people. I will be back !

Stopped here for a quick lunch over the weekend and we had a couple of delicious salads. Did not sample the pizza but from what we saw coming out of the oven it looked delicious and can't wait to go back for the pie. Similar style and ambience to the old Coal Fired Pizza in Bradley Beach but larger and more open. We dig this new place and will surely return.

Had lunch this afternoon, three ladies total. Our coal house salad was very good but the pizza was not and neither was the service. Our pizza came out burnt and cold and we didn't want them to put it back in the oven since it was already burnt. No one asked if we wanted a different pizza so since we were very hungry we ate the crap one anyway. Not asked again how we're doing. The young servers seemed too afraid to fix the situation. I wonder if they have a manager on duty even.

I've enjoyed fresh pizza here before. However I'm writing this complaint not for the food but because recently I felt the service was the worst I have ever experienced. I was dining with my friend for dinner and the restaurant was not busy. Our first waitress disappeared and never came back again. The waitresses were all teenagers and took turns waiting on the table. They were cold with a frown on their faces the entire time except for this one really sweet girl. The rest would give there back to us whenever we tried to catch their attention. They would clean the other tables and disappear into the kitchen where they would all be huddling because they couldn't all fit in the doorway. I have never waited over 30 minutes to order food, 35 minutes for water which was never refilled, another 25 minutes for 2 simple orders of pizza, and another 30 minutes to have the table cleared well after we were finished eating. Then, I waited another 25 minutes for the bill which we requested twice after being ignored by the first waitress who came out to clean the table without a word of explanation. It may have been a disorganized effort or something else but this was worst dining experience I have ever had and disappointed is an understatement.

Amazing real coal fired pizza, nice atmosphere, very good service. We went with my parents and ordered three different kinds of pizza, all very good. It's a BYOB as many other places in the area are so don't forget to bring some wine.

Not many places offer real coal oven pizza, but this place is the real deal, We love thin crust pizza and this place does it right. The mozarella is made in house and the ingredients were all very fresh. The whole wheat crust was the first one I ever had and liked. The restaurants decor is great in this very quaint district of Point Pleasant. Definitely a great stop before or after the beach.

After I went vegan, I thought jersey style pizza was off the menu. The vegan pizza here is just as good as the real thing; that thin, thin crust, the amazingly complex, slightly sweet sauce and just a little daiya. You have ruined all other vegan pizzas for me, Coal House.

Like burnt crust? Then this pizza is for you. The entire bottom was black...and they forgot the pepperoni. When we mentioned it we were told "it's coal fired...always like that ". Coal-fired or woodfired it's all about the temperature of the of the oven.

Our second time to the Coal House, First was take out this time we dined in. The satff very friendly and so nice. We each ordered a pizza and we split a salad. The salad very fresh and the dressing tasty. Our Pizzas looked amazing and tasted even better. This by far is the best pizza around and can't wait to go back again. Oh.... and they now have wings and they looked delicious.

Found our new favorite pizzeria down the shore. We ate there for the first time last night. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is terrific. We also met the owner who was very friendly. We had bruschetta which was overflowing with diced tomatoes, and just the perfect amount of garlic. But the best part is the pizza. I was born in raised in Brooklyn and believe me this pizza is just like I remember from my childhood. Homemade mozzarella and crispy crust cooked perfectly. Can't wait to go back with friends and try all the different toppings. Oh and it's BYOB...can't get much better than that!

For me, the most important part of a pizza is absolutely, without a doubt, the crust. Any pizza can be good with some decent sauce, cheese, etc...What separates the great ones, however, is THE CRUST. So, we ordered two pizzas at the Coal House--The Coal House Original and the Mediterrano. The Coal House Original had a fantastic crust. It could have used a bit more sauce and while it had a generous portion of basil, the basil wasn't evenly distributed at all. Basically half the pizza had over 3/4 of the basil. A little more attention to detail and this pizza could have been a standout...as it was, it was still great. The crust was crisp, but not cracker-like in that it still had some 'fluff' to it. Very, very good. The Mediterrano wasn't in the same class, at least in my book. Unfortunately, the toppings seemed to overwhelm the crust, rendering it less crisp than the Original. The toppings themselves were good, but I'm a pretty plain pizza type of guy and again, I believe the crust is the key cog in the pizza wheel. We had decent service and the pies weren't too terribly priced for "high end" pizza. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could and again, a little more attention to detail would put this place over the top.

Plenty of room inside. You can watch the pizza crafted by skilled real American workers*. The roasted veg salad was good. The house pizza was actually very tasty. Good bite, good flavor and a hint of smokey coal-ness. Overall, very happy.

The Coal House was derived from the original CBO in Bradley Beach on Brinley Ave - it has been one of our favorite restaurants since it opened in the early 2000's. A dear friend of ours is the owner so Bradley Beach CBO will always have our heart but unfortunately it is closing very soon. In good news though, since moving back down to Ocean County we were thrilled to hear they were opening one up in Point - great location on Arnold Avenue right by Green Planet Coffee - the menu and pricing is exactly the same. Dishing out delicious thin crust pizza from a brick oven, fresh salads and soups this place will continue to be number 1 for us! The minestrone soup is hearty, signature salad is fresh as always and the 4 cheese pie is the absolute best! BYOB is fantastic as always and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. The decor is calming and very art deco - very Red Bank which is our cup of tea. It's also a great place for kids considering it's a somewhat of a small space it does get quite loud - so no need to get a sitter! Service was a bit slow, however you must consider they literally just opened last week and it was a Friday night at prime time. We will be back sooner than later!

The pizza is excellent especially the whole wheat crust. I'm giving this three stars though because the service is terrible. We sat down and watched tables that sat down after have their orders taken first. I had to ask the bus girl for a wine glass. Then after about 15 mins I had to ask her to get our waitress so we could order. The table next to us asked our waitress for cheese and that took almost 15 mins to get to them. Out waitress was not friendly either. So many Workers walked by our table and didn't bother to stop when I said excuse me. I asked for extra sauce on the side when the waitress brought the pizza and after waiting a while, i had to ask the bus girl who then got it for me Thankfully the one bus girl was really nice. We'd prob still be waiting to order now if it wasn't for her. My advice take out the pizza.

I would give this a 5 but the lunch menu is the same as the dinner and therefore just as pricey. As someone on a gluten-free diet, I must say that this place was a God-send. My first piece of pizza in about 5 months. It was DELICIOUS! It was s thin crispy crust and it was just as good as regular pizza. Thank you Coal House. It was awesome. I found this place through the gluten free registry, and I was delighted with the results. I will say though, for those with diagnosed celiac, it's probably best to take one of those pills for "in case of contamination" because as this is a chain, I have no idea how well trained the cooks are on clearing the space of all other flours, etc.

....good, safe bet for good if not excellent pizza. Ordered a Medium Size Veggie -- it was decent and tasty. Kid ordered pasta .... i think i got ronzoni and francisco rinaldi which is unfortunate, but that's fine. Kids will eat anything, albeit i was a tad bothered paying $6 for 99 cents worth of goods. We also had the arugula salad, which was decent. The service - it was ok. They had different waiters coming out and ask the same questions. They may have been changing shifts or something. Very helpful when u called them over, but would've given them kudos if they were more attentive. In a nutshell - if u eat here - come for the pizza.

Stopped by for an early dinner on the way to the beach. They sat us right away since we were there before the dinner crowd and it was Monday. It took a while for the waitress to get our order which I don't understand since there were only four tables there and at least four waiters. We saw the pizza being made which looked very yummy and I couldn't wait to eat it. The funny thing was that they put the sauce on top of everything instead of beneath it but it was fine. The pizza was done in record time (it felt like 5 minutes!) and we were eager to eat it. We ordered half pepperoni and half veggie. It was delicious. The only thing was that I had to eat it with a fork and knife since it was falling all over the place. My five-year-old son, who is a very picky eater, loved it as well. Since there were very few customers there I didn't think it was going to take the waitress as long as it took her to get our check. The waiters literally were all just standing there doing nothing. So my only gripe is how slow the service was at that time of the day and that I had to use a fork and knife to eat my pizza.

Big fans of the Bradley location but since we moved to Point we've been in search of a good pie with no luck...until they moved to Point!! Amazing pizza!!! Best margherita pizza in the area hands down! Not to mention that they have the most amazing cupcakes I've ever tasted, and I usually hate pasteries. The red velvet cupcake with cream cheese filling was so moist and yummy that I asked about getting a cupcake tray for my wedding! GO. GO NOW!

A few weeks ago we decided to pop in because we were doing a comedy show nearby. I called and asked for a table of 10 and though busy were quickly accommodated. When we arrived with were seated almost instantly and greeted personally by the owner. He suggested menu items and made sure we were taken care of. We settled in and sampled few apps and salad and the enjoyed a wide range of pizza options that were very tasty with our BYOB. When we settled up only around a $100. We were nervous about not having time to get to the comedy club and skipped ordering desert. The owner then insisted we had time and served up delicious ice cream cannoli on the the house. We walked in as strangers and left like family. As the saying goes from the most interesting man in the world, "I don't often write reviews. But when I do it's about a place like this...Stay hungry my friends."

The pizza had major potential...but it just wasnt perfect. I have had a lot of coal fired pizza and this just wasn't as good. With that said, i will try it again the next time i am here because it was still better than your average pizza. We ordered 7 pizzas and 2 salads but when we came to pick it up they were missing 1 pizza and 2 salads. They ended up giving us a free salad to make up for it but we still had to wait a good while (so the pizza got soggy). They were super busy and the guy at the takout counter needed another person helping him so I cant really blame them.

How pizza is supposed to be. They offer personal to large and many variations. Paninis are great too and served with salad. Fresh ingredients and everything is made to order. They offer a small dessert menu along with coffee/cappuccino/espresso. Decor is modern. Clean. Staff is attentive. This is a nice getaway from the typical boardwalk food. Highly recommend.

This place has really good pizza! The four cheese pizza was fabulous. It has the perfect amount of cheese - a lot of multiple-cheese-pizzas have an overwhelming amount of cheese, but not this one. The cannolis are really good too. I'd recommend both.

Excellent pizza made from a coal oven. The dough is very light and airy, and you won't have that overly-full feeling afterward. Prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of variety. There's a huge free lot near Coal House, you'll always find parking.

The Coal House could be a regular hangout for me if I lived permanently in Pt. Pleasant. Gets packed on the weekends by locals and visitors. Nice friendly vibe inside and pleasant servers. Great menu with something sure to please everyone. They have a coal fired oven. Got sausage pizza with in house mozzarella to go in only 15 minutes on a very busy weekend. It gets a little soggy being in the to go box even if you have a very short drive home. The sausage wasn't slices or crumbles but was still good. 3.5 stars to go. 4 star if you eat it there (crust will be crunchy - I checked). I suggest you eat in the restaurant because if you order the pizza they are generous with the cheese and homemade mozzarella cheese has more moisture and has a tendency to make the pizza crust loose its crispness when you get it to go. Plus it's BYOB so very affordable overall. Parking lot gets totally packed on the weekend at dinner time but they have a gentleman directing you where to find parking.

Really nice upscale pizza joint in downtown Point Pleasant Beach. Very simple menu: a few salads, some basic apps, one pasta dish, and then the main event -- lots of types of pizzas with lots of topping choices. The pizza is really good, thin and crispy crust with a nice tomato sauce (if you get the red sauce pizza types) and generous cheese. Really good stuff. The one pasta dish was just okay, really only there for people who for some unfathomable reason do not like pizza. The salads were very good as well. The service was friendly and helpful, particularly accommodating for kids. Anthony the owner or manager ( I think ) is a regular presence, and a lovely host. Also, if you need parking, the complex with the restaurant has its own parking, so don't despair if you can't find something on the street. Very highly recommended for a really good and simple comfort food meal. (Oh, and it's BYOB!)

Awesome place. Stumbled upon it once and I can't stop coming here. Make sure you get the Bianca pizza and the coal house wings. Wonderful and friendly staff this place is great in or off season.

The pizza was very good and very fresh. The wings were nice also. Baked not fried. Which I liked. The atmosphere is good and everything is very clean

This recommendation isn't low because of the quality of food but rather the quality of service. We came at 9:30 in hopes of a quick meal after a concert. It took them almost 30 minutes to take our order after we got there. Keep in mind, every other table already there was finishing up their meals so it wasn't like they were busy. I'm a server, so I understand sometimes you get distracted but this was RIDICULOUS. Once we ate, it took another 20 minutes of just sitting there before one of us had to get up and request our check. ALL of the waitresses were sitting down eating not even paying attention to their customers. If the service was at least somewhat decent, I would have given them four stars. The chefs are great, waitresses... Not so much. And for anyone who loves pesto as much as me, the pesto pizza was great! My mother liked it even more than the one she ordered!

Being from Brooklyn NY, it is hard to impress me with pizza. The Coal House has by far THE BEST pizza I have ever ate in my life! Perfect thin crust and amazing flavor. We were on vacation and went here twice (would've been every day if it were up to me). The owner Anthony was as friendly and professional as they come. I can't wait to visit again!

I was surprised at this one. I live Tommys Coal Pizza and this place always smells so good from outside so I finally stopped in. It was just mah. The pizza did not have as much flavor and the soil was bland. It was cold inside also but they did turn the heat up when I asked. To many choices in the area for me to feel meh about s place. I will likely not go back here.

Pizza was very good and service was friendly and attentive. The decor is odd. It's like Daryl Hannah's character from Wall Street outfitted the place in crazy 80's decor.

To begin, I give this place 5 stars because my sole visit was just about perfect. My girlfriend and I went in to grab a quick bite for dinner, nothing too crazy. From the start the service was great. Not super professional, but ready and genuine. We split a salad for an app, which was rather large and refreshing. For dinner we split a medium regular pizza with added sliced tomatoes (good size for 2). The pizza was really great. The dough was very light and cooked perfectly. The sauce on the pizza was really excellent as well. Overall the meal really satisfied and was pretty inexpensive. The service was on par from the minute we entered to the minute we left. We would recommend to anyone new in the area looking for a good place for dinner.

Went with a big group of people (10). We ordered 4 big pizzas and the total was less than $100 I think. Surprisingly cheap. I brought our own wine and no cork fees!! Had a great time there. The pizza was delicious. Who can turn down tasty pizza? No one can. Listen up, people from the west: when visiting New Jersey- gotta try the local pizza!! Try this place with your own wine!

Unimpressive Mediterranean pizza. No taste came out of oven to table a tad cold. A bit bland. We ordered a house salad, mediocre, needed more dressing. We would probably try one of the other restaurants on main street.

Really nice place to stop for lunch, but the seating was a bit cramped in certain areas and the noise level was a bit high. Otherwise the staff was friendly and the foo was great. I loved being able to watch them make the pizzas while I eat, and the cupcake I got for dessert was so rich I could barely finish it!

We come here once a month and have never had a less-than-delicious meal. Highly recommend the Mediterranean pizza & antipasta. Lastly, you MUST try their cupcakes, preferably the red velvet with cream cheese frosting :) The owner is also always SO nice and offers his recommendations which is much appreciated.

Loved it! Sat outside and had a great wait staff. Friendly and very helpful. House salad was one of the best I've ever had .... And huge! Even my 5 yr old gobbled it up. Pizza was excellent. It cooled down really fast but even tasted great when it was cold. I can't wait to go back!

My hubby and I live in the area and decided go to this restaurant while doing errands on a rainy afternoon. We entered at 4:30 and we're looking forward to a nice meal together..we love Tommys and thought the menu would be similar. Well we didn't even get the chance to see a menu, obviously we were deemed very unimportant and told we only had 2 choices for seating..and..that being in a basically empty restaurant. I commented that the best of the undesirable seating was near a serving area and asked for one of the many empty tables along the window instead. The hostess responded by telling us basically "too bad" THOSE tables are being kept empty for their dinner crowd. OKAY WE ARE OUTTA HERE, NEVER TO RETURN, JUST ON RUDENESS ALONE...now for 709, Spanos and of course Tommys. I'm sure THEY know how to treat their customers !

If you are ever in the area and looking for pizza, this is the place to be. The service is top notch. We ordered 1 large pizza with additional pepperoni topping on one half. Instead they served with pepperoni topping on the full pizza. Honestly it was a bonus for us, since they didn't charge for the extra half topping and on top got us another half pizza for free. The pizza was thin crusted , cheesy and crispy; exactly what I was looking for. Tried the wings that were tasty too. I was very impressed with the restaurant's food and service. Would highly recommend.

First time, last time. Surprised that they didn't serve soup ( only in the winter?) and no rice ball. Most of the pizza's looked too similar and all meat toppings were extra. We ordered the Original with sausage. Our pie came out extremely fast. The pie wasn't crisp , but soggy on the bottom. We had to load up on spices to give it some flavor. So when I folded my slice , it bent , with no flavor. Very bad food experience. They should've let it cook a few more minutes before serving. We planned on dining at 10th Ave Burrito, but they were closed. Otherwise our pizza place is always Denino's. Never disappointed with their Garbage Pie , rice ball and pasta fagioli

Gave 3 stars simply for the service. Greeted from the moment we entered and pleasant personalities from the waitstaff. But when you are spending $30 for pizza and a calzone, you expect better taste from your meal. We ordered the original pizza. I have just concluded that this style of pizza just isn't for me. The cheese is not melted, yet the crust is beyond well done. Not sure how that happens but it just doesn't taste good. My kids love pizza and even they poo-poo'd it. But it's not this place. We tried the same style in Sea Girt and the result was the same. Shame on us for thinking it might be different. If you like this style, it's probably wonderful. If you want friendly staff, you found it. But if you like good old fashioned italian pizza, look elsewhere.
